The Hazardous Weather Preparedness Institute teaches a variety of classes throughout the year designed to better familiarize and prepare the attendee for experiencing hazardous weather conditions.
The sessions are taught in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Rendleman Company located at 800 Green Valley Road, Suite 101. Those interested in attending the classes should contact the Rendleman Company at 336-851-6002. In most cases, two different class sessions are taught on scheduled days. Students may choose to attend one session or the entire day. The cost per session is $50, payable by cash or check. The Rendleman Company will also invoice your company as well.
All classes are taught by Randy Jackson. Jackson is the former Chief Meteorologist of a Greensboro, North Carolina TV station. Jackson is also a ” Certified Lightning Safety Professional” and the current staff meteorologist for WZTK- FM Radio, with a 100,000 watt signal that covers much of North Carolina. All classes were developed by Jackson and approved by the North Carolina Department of Insurance for continuing education credit. Classes can also be taught at your facility for as few or as many attendees as your needs require. Class lengths can also be adjusted to fit your training needs.
