Ready Certification Presented to Greensboro American Express
Facility
Randy Jackson and Steve Marks of the
Hazardous Weather Preparedness Institute joined representatives
of the National Weather Service, Raleigh-Durham to present
"Storm Ready" certification to the American Express Service
Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

American Express is the
first North Carolina business to receive the
"Storm Ready" certification and only the third business
recipient in the United States.
According to the press statement
issued by the National Weather Service, " The Hazardous Weather
Preparedness Institute worked directly with American Express and
the National Weather Service to develop a comprehensive severe
weather plan to help protect employees. This team effort
resulted in American Express being recognized as one of the
first "Storm Ready" businesses in the country.
