Hazardous Weather Seminars For Sports and Recreation
Every year athletic events and
participants are challenged by hazardous weather events. We have
seen entire college football teams affected by lightning
strikes. Hazardous weather events have resulted in deaths and
injuries to players, coaches and spectators.
Our hazardous weather seminars and
training sessions are designed to provide coaches, officials,
facility staff and other decision makers information that allows
them to make the right call in a timely manner when hazardous
weather threatens their area.
Your session will be taught by Randy
Jackson, a Certified Lightning Safety Professional and 25 year
meteorologist. Material is presented in a multi-media format, is
easy to understand and will provide important insights in
understanding hazardous weather. This program is perfect for
park district recreational programs, middle and high schools,
colleges and universities and professional sports.
